Maus: Auschwitz Execution

This was another Art apprecation assignment.

But, I've grown to really admire the work of Art Spiegelman. If you've never heard of him, get educated.

This is my own scene in his style and representational method, depicting an execution at the largest concentration camp in existence in the time of WWII, as assigned by my professor. I picked the artist from an approved list.

If you read "Maus" you'll understand this more, not that it's so hard to understand, really.

Though, last time I tried to read that book, I had a mental breakdown and stormed out of the library. It's a hard book to read, but one of the best graphic novels I have ever read, not to mention one of the best Holocaust biographies I've ever read.
