Description
This is the largest painting I've ever done in my life, and that isn't saying much. It's only 5x4 ft. Though, it's big enough to not fit in my car, a definite first.
The original title is "The Miscarriage of the Second Coming: A Brutal Interpretation of Contemporary Society."
I'm actually taking a course specifically revolving around Surrealism, and this does not exactly fall into any type of category even remotely related to Surrealism. If anything, this is my outlandish response to whatever stage in postmodernism we are in right now. But I fucking love the work of the Surrealists in the 1920's, so I threw quite a bit of stuff from that in here.
Whatever, anyway, if you want to know what this symbolically charged monstrosity is all about, just holla in the comments, and I'll explain where I was going with this.

I'm really interested in where you got the ideas for the "monsters"; they remind me of the yhetsi's from the Dark Crystal.
This is intense, and inspiring as hell.
